Gratitude

Thanksgiving has just past us exactly as it does every year, we have all given our thanks and stuffed our bellies full once again. Our thanks were given while we shoveled the mass amounts of food in our mouths, but I don't think it should stop there. People should give thanks for things every day. We should be thankful for everything that we have and do.
I'm personally thankful for my parents that are always around to support me. My friends that I can talk to about everything and anything. The heated house I live in with a bed to sleep in and everything I have around me. I wouldn't be the person I am today if I wasn't given the same opportunities and chances at things. Especially cheer and stunt teams. If I hadn't been in the right places at the right times or had the friendships and known the people I do, I would not have had close to as many chances at teams or just opportunities in general. Everything you do and experience shapes the person you are and become. That's why I believe everything happens for a reason and we should be thankful for it.

Remembering

I chose quotes to represent remembering because they are quick phrases that almost always affect people the same. They can be words of wisdom or a good laugh. Typically they are short, sweet and right to the point. That is what I love about them.

"What is human life? The first third a good time; the rest remembering about it." -Mark Twain

"Remember, If you ever need a helping hand, it's at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others." -Audrey Hepburn

"And remember, no matter where you go, there you are." -Confucius
